All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) has announced awards for journalists, photographers and advertising. It is strange that it has not announced awards for newspapers and e-papers of Pakistan. A new category “Best Public Service Campaign” must be introduced for e-papers and even for newspapers.

E-Periodical Drive:

E-Papers are environment friendly and interactive with wider distribution. E-papers also offer latest videos and games. PID and PEMRA are requested to fix government advertising tariff within 15 days. It will help e-papers of today and tomorrow to survive in infant stage. Hopefully Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting will take notice.
