Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority must issue new advertising tariff for year 2012 so that online-papers obtain routine advertisements (job opportunity, tender, announcement and public message) of government departments. Price Hike of 350 Medicines:

Government has increased prices of medicines by 20% to 100%. People are worried over this anti-people decision of government. Keeping in view PIC incident, this decision will damage reputation of government, a PPP worker said.

Senate Elections Update:

A petition has been filed in Supreme Court of Pakistan to postpone elections as several members of parliament hold fake academic degrees thus ineligible for vote casting. It is a very pertinent petition for public interest. Moreover, 46 persons are participating in elections as independent candidates.
