Islamabad Police has arrested criminals having illegal arms and wine.

12 Died in Karachi:

Unknown terrorists killed 2 workers of MQM thus in skirmishes 10 more person died. Protestors burnt 44 vehicles and properties. CNG stations and petrol pumps remained closed. MQM has asked government to arrest criminals within 48 hours. Security agencies are tracking the criminals.

150 Shops Sealed:

Rawalpindi Excise and Taxation Department has sealed 150 shops in Taxila for tax evading.

20 Pakistanis Deported:

Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail enjoy 353, 695 and 257 accounts respectively. Hotmail needs to improve its share in Pakistan whereas StumbleUpon and Microsoft can come up with innovative marketing.

Horn Honking Stats:

Tariq Derya Amish and Sheik Sajed Imtiazwith mobile phone recorded beeps at Shakrial Bus Stop in Rawalpindi and recorded 132 beeps in just 8 minutes at 1400 hours. Eighty-five percent horn honkers are van and car drivers. Rawalpindi Traffic Police is requested to take corrective action.

Lal Masjid Case:

Supreme Court of Pakistan has asked explanation from Chairman CDA, Chief Commissioner Islamabad and Secretary Ministry of Interior to report within 7 days for not filing suit in court of law for Lal Masjid incidence in July 2007.

Loadshedding Protest:

People in major cities of Punjab continued protest over electricity loadshedding. In Lahore, they attacked on WAPDA and LESCO offices. Police is trying to control the protestors. Moreover, people are facing 20 hours loadshedding in Azad Kashmir. Mian Shahbaz Sharif gave cheque of Rs.500 thousand to Amir Hamza, died in protest.

Governor Punjab and Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting said that Mian Shahbaz Sharif is conspiring against the government. Who is right? Only time will tell.

Rs.55 Per Liter Petrol in Goa:

Government of Goa has decreased price of petrol by Rs.11 per liter. Central Government of India has asked other governments to follow Government of Goa.
