181 Thousand Patents:

Despite difficult economic conditions, international patent filings under the WIPO-administered Patent Cooperation Treaty set a new record in 2011 with 181,900 applications – a growth of 10.7% on 2010 and the fastest growth since 2005.

Muhammad Yaseen said that PEMRA should fix government advertising rates for Urdu and English e-dailies and e-weeklies of Pakistan. Receptionist did not allow meeting with media department of PTCL. Person Of The Year 2011:
