150 Shops Sealed:

Rawalpindi Excise and Taxation Department has sealed 150 shops in Taxila for tax evading.

Attack on PTI Office:

Some unknown terrorists have fired at central office of Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf. PTI is striving for autonomy of provinces. Police is tracking the criminals.

2 Constables Killed in Firing:

In Multan, unknown persons riding on bikes fired at residence of Shariat Court Judge, Justice Jahangir Arshad thus two constables died on spot. Police is traking the criminals.

A Constable Damaged Shanty Restaurant:

Islamabad police constable, Lali, damaged furniture of a small restaurant when he was drunk. Police is taking action against the constable.

Loadshedding Protest:

People in major cities of Punjab, Sahiwal, Pakpatan and Lahore, continued protest over electricity fuel adjustment charges. In Lahore, they attacked on WAPDA and LESCO offices. Moreover, people are facing 20 hours loadshedding in Azad Kashmir.

Poor Condition of Liaqat Colony:

It is located in Dhamyal in Rawalpindi. During rains filthy water comes out of gutters and waterways. DCO Rawalpindi Saqib Zafar is requested to take corrective action, Azizur Rehman said.

Fundamentalist-Free France:

President of France has ordered security agencies to pinpoint fundamentalists to expel them from France. Agencies are tracking French Muslims from Iran and Pakistan, etc.

4 Islamic Scholars Persona Non Grata:

Government of France has declared Tariq Ramzan, Akarma Sabri, Ayad Ben Abdullah Al-Qarni, Safwat Al-Hajazi and Abdullah Safar as persona non grata.

Critic Corner:

Daily 10 Minutes and Daily B-Rich must get advertisements from private sector like Telenor, Metro Cash and Carry and JS Bank. It should develop cordial relations with advertising agencies like Adgroup, Orient and Midas.

GM Pak Railways Arrested:

In Islamabad, National Accountability Bureau arrested Saeed Akhtar, General Manager, for embezzlement and corruption. People are pleased with the arrest.

Innovative Protest by Raped Woman:

In Lahore, Arshad Bibi climbed on an electric poll as a result of rape by a holy figure. Police convinced her for 2 hours to come down. Police has taken action against the fake saint.

SAARC Conference:

It will be held during 10-11 April 2012 in Islamabad for promotion of science and technology.

Tiger for Islamabad Zoo:

On 27th November 2011, Wildlife Department caught one tiger by baiting a goat in Murree Hills. Islamabad Zoo is without a lion and tiger. Daily Gratis Gazette requests Prime Minister’s Advisor Faisal Sakhi Butt to transfer the tiger to International Islamabad Zoo for amusement of children of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

35 Rebels Killed:

In Upper Orakzai in skirmishes between rebels and security forces, 35 rebels died. Thirteen camps were destroyed whereas 2 security personnel were also died.

Firecrackers at Midnight:

In G-7 sector, people heard firecrackers. Islamabad police is tracking the criminals.

Horn Honking Stats:

Tariq Derya Amish and Sheik Sajed Imtiaz with mobile phone recorded beeps at G-10/4 in Islamabad and recorded 96 beeps in just 8 minutes at 1600 hours. Ninety percent horn honkers are van and car drivers. Islamabad Traffic Police is requested to take corrective action.

New Brand:

Castrol has introduced GTX CNG Engine Oil for vehicles in Pakistan.

PML (N) Rally in Lahore:

Mian Nawaz Sharif led the rally against electricity loadshedding. People are facing 10-12 hours loadshedding daily in Lahore.

See Sign Language:

Ehad Welfare Organization is a non-profit organization in Sialkot working for welfare of the deaf. President EWO, Rajab Ali Shah has initiated “See Sign Language” awareness campaign. He said that it is very important for everyone to learn and apply sign language in daily life. He said road accidents can also be minimized if NH&MP financially supports SSL campaign. Daily 10 Minutes requests NH&MP to make a short documentary on Sign Language and upload at websites of media and schools.
